330 ml bottle. Pours black with short dark tan head. Aromas of chocolate nougat, graham cracker, chocolate syrup, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with just a little whisky and wood, plus lots of dark sugars. Warm finish. Excellent

Bottle from Beerdome. Black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, wood and whisky. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 071125

Tap @MBCC 2025, Red Session. Oily black, tan head. Heavy rich roasted malty aroma, sweet barrel. Heavy sweet flavour, whiskey booze and buzz.

Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Spicy rye Whiskey, roasted malt. Taste: Smooth and dense, oily mouthfeel, roasted malt, spicy rye Whiskey, molasses, hints of vanilla, some coffee and bit boozy. Full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate to medium sweetness and bitterness. Another very nice Silver Series BA beer. Slow sipper.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Red session), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of spicy rye whiskey, vanilla, and cocoa. Flavour is dominated by the rye whiskey, with plenty of spiciness, light vanillin, cocoa, and earthy roasted malt. Finished spicy, moderately sweet, and well-balanced. A bit rough but well-made overall.

On tap at MBCC 2025, red session. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Burnt bread, crusts, rye whiskey barrels on the nose. Flavour has toasted bready malts, molasses, charred rye barrels. Very good.
