375ml (thx, Alex G.!) @ Brian's shared with Ryan and Phill.
Aroma: bold, a lot of oak (as usual), some light sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines, nice quality barrels, boozy, nice body.
Overall: stands out from the bunch of their BBA, very nice 👌

Poured from 375mL bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Rich floral cherry blossom vanilla bourbon notes with mild chocolate, a bit boozy, enjoyable.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some bourbon notes and light vanilla with some woody notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some vanilla notes with some woody bourbon notes and a quite dry finish. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Nice mix of bourbon notes with great chocolate stout notes while avoiding being overly sweet.

Almost pitch black, like the wax top, with no highlights. Just a bubbly, small, warm mocha-coloured head that disappears rather quickly. Big molasses in the aromas with the Bourbon touch, adding raisin notes, dark fruits, woodiness, some booziness, with the chocolate and roasted malts as base. Quite alcoholic in the flavours as well, with a nice warming. A little oily on the tongue, with a building dryness that continues. Cacao taste, roasted barley, coffee and a tad coconut. One of the boozier Barrelled Imperial Stouts from this brewery, with no crazy overtones.
