Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask.Clear gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, airy with fine carbonation. Sweetish malt with honey and sweet banana streak. Light ripe sweet orange. Smooth dry finish. Not bad.

Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Has a very smooth texture that appeals. Malty character thereafter with sweeter berry-like flavours abundant.

Cask at The Playhouse, Colchester. Poured a clear light to medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a watery malt hop slightly buttery barnyard palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. It’s beers like this that put the Great into Britain! I’m surprised it has so few ratings.
