[Gravity cask at Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Deep amber, moderate white head. Lots of straw, some lemon, a growing almond and cola flavour. Crisp bitterness balances it all in the finish. Good rich flavoursome bitter. Well done Waddys.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Copper with a thin translucent head; malty aroma; rich in the mouth with a malty, caramel taste and some cherries providing a fruity note; then a deep earthy bitterness and a dry finish. Rather good.
