In this pin bright and bitter Pale Ale we used a blend of four hops to layer in a lovely depth of flavour and aroma. We started with British Jester and Harlequin on the hot side before dry hopping with Ekuanot Cryo and Citra. This combination had delivered a big punchy lime and lemon note with plenty of pithy orange!

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, a good size off white head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a decent sweetness delivered. Light crisp pine. An interesting mix of US and UK hops. Some light but bright citrus and a little berry fruits. Mild skunk. Whisper of lime. Light semi dry finish. A tad thin overall but enjoyed the transatlantic hop vibe. Would work well as a DIPA.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright pale amber pour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; smooth in the mouth with a grainy body and an immediate bitterness with lots of grapefruit as well as some bitter herbs. A very tasty pale ale with a lingering bitter orange marmalade finish.
