Have you ever been stung by the sap of a fig tree and its leaves? As kids, we’d run around, playing carefree, only to end up with itchy, red skin. Who knew that the very sap that caused those minor childhood injuries could actually lead to something amazing?
Introducing our old-school DIPA, brewed with dried figs from Kalamata and reaching a bone-dry 9% ABV. We’ve infused it with a generous amount of fig leaves from the tree right outside the brewery! The result? A brew with coconutty and herbal notes that beautifully balances the high ABV from the figs’ natural sugars.

Can courtesy of Kostas, Kykao brewery, cheers Kostas! Shared the beer with Jonas and Ursula at home Friday 16th May 2025. Pours clear light gold with a small white head. Quite earthy and herbal with a nice buzzy mouthfeel. I like this, it has rustic quality but if I were trying this blindfolded I really wouldn't have a clue how to categorise this, it doesn't taste like a DIPA, hoppiness is muted. Fine.

Can, thanks Fin. Golden, slightly amber cloudy. Fig, sugar. Front heavy, dry sticky sweet, chalky. Bit too sweet, perfume.
