Hand pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 27th September 2025. Golden pour, clean and clear, on top a white crown. Equinox hops doing their thing, citrus and herbal nose, citrus and lime in the flavours. Not too shabby at all.

Cask at The Vaults, Knowle, Solihull. Clear light yellow pour with a broken thin white head and sticky lacing. Not much in the aroma, but a quite unusual slightly sour slightly bitter apple-like flavour, but without the acidity. Some bitterness sits on the palate for a short while, which encourages you to take another sip. A very refreshing ale that might benefit from being served a touch colder than mine was. I enjoyed it. My pint didn’t last long so I guess that’s a decent recommendation!

Cask at the Fulflood Arms, Winchester - 09/09/12. Pale golden yellow with a thin white head. Pale malt, grain and wheat on the nose. Not a lot of aroma to this beer. Light pale malt flavour, hops and a little citrus action in the taste. Medium body, light carbonation, slightly astringent finish.

Cask at Cobden Arms. Pours clear, lght gold with no head, really. Malt aroma with some spice, apple and doughy bread. Flavor is lightly sweet and marked by citrus, earth and herbal hops. There are some mild plastic notes, too, along with more apple. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Odd finish, with some sweet fruit and sugar with dirty bitters. A tad thin, a tad uninteresting.
