Half from cask at Barony Bar in Edinburgh. And another half at the Wethersppons real ale festival. Straw-golden body topped by a tiny white head. Smell of leafy hops. Hints of hop resin in flavour. Dry bittersweet ending. Alright, but rather one dimensional [Edinburgh 24.10 and at the Counting House in Dundee 07.11.2008]

From cask. Pours clear yellow wth a small white head. Mild malty aroma. Mild fruity and bitter flavoured. Holds a light metallic and butterish note. Light caramel malty too. Stays on the dry side thing through. Mild malty finish. A bit bland and simple.

[Cask (gravity) at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] Straw body, no head; damp grain aroma; thin fruity malt flavours, with some apple and orange - like a weak fruit squash; little bitterness to finish. Best forgotten.

On draught (anywhere in Bayswater): Deep golden with a smaller, lacy white head; sourish-grainy nose with a tinge of vegetables; light to medium sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; short bitter-sourish finish. Drikable, not nice........

Dark amber color. Toffee milk chocolate, appley nose. Thin mouth, not well balanced despite some rich flavors.

2008-11-11, Cask Conditioned at J. D. Wetherspoon - Shakespear’s Head, London, 6-4-6-3-12=31
Hazy deep blond color, creamy thin head (sprinkler). Delicate Ale, refreshing, a bit malty, soft, lightly fruity, with a touch of apples, both aroma and flavor.

2008-10-09, Cask Conditioned at Woodin’s Shades, London, 5-3-5-3-9=25
Golden color. It has a light apple aroma, which is not very positive. Light body, very light flavor, correct bitterness. Too simple.

Cask at the Dolphin in Shrewsbury. Nice looking dark golden beer with a tight white head. Fruity taste which disappeared a little quickly and overall the beer was a bit watery, not robust enough. Finish was slightly bitter but not lasting

Gravity cask at Maidstone BF. Golden colour, ginger flavours (at least I thought so) nice citrus notes that are quite biting. However overall not that rounded
