A delayed rating from June last year. Can from La Manducateca, Bilbao. Golden with a head. Hoppy, slightly strong - its Belgian styling is perhaps its least stated characteristic, but some is evident.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 24B, adapted). Can 44 cl - Batch 24304 (BB: 12/24). AROMA: medium hop aroma (minty-like), followed by medium fermentation notes (oranges, clove). low malty background with a neutral character. APPEARANCE: light yellow color and cristal clear. medium white head with medium retention. TASTE: medium-low to low hop notes similar to the aroma (minty) with low belgian yeast characteristics (oranges, phenolics like clove). medium-low bitterness with a dry and slightly yeasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an hoppy belgian pale ale with nice aroma characteristics but with a more diluted flavor.
