On the afternoon of 26th March 2019 my wife and I tried four flights (of four beers) in the centre section of the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside, two flights of their own beers and two flights of guests. This is one of those 16 beers. Amber with a light red hue, off-white crown. malty lead in both the aroma and semi-sweet taste, some fruity hop action flavour wise.

Tap @ Beer Temple, sample size (5 oz). Clear amber color. Stiff and sticky off white head. Aroma’s: malty sweet, but also some resinous hops. Retronasal there’s caramel malts, but hardly sweet, ryebread, some hop botterness. Flavor is moderate fruity sweet, caramel, light bitter. Light bodied. Nice than expected for an amber.

Keg at Bottle Shop Bermondsey - London. Pours clear copper with a creamy, khaki head. The nose has some toasted grains, bread, leaves and orange peel. Medium sweet flavour with pleasant bready malts, caramel, some gooey pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more sweet and grainy bread, caramel, slight resin, bitter pine, melon, ripening citrus. Very drinkable stuff.

A reddish copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt backbone with nice floral hops, light treacle, pleasant. In mouth, a nice roasted caramel malt with light nutty notes, light grassy hops, treacle, very nice. On tap at brewery.
