Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is lots of Bourbon and oak with vanilla, malt, dried fruits, caramel, raisins. Sweet, light boozy finish. Body is medium to full. Bit sticky, fruity and oaky Bourbon Tripel, very nice.

(Draught at Foeders, Amsterdam, 30 Aug 2019) Hazy amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of oak wood, dried fruit, citrus and hints of glue. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, citrus, oak wood, vanilla and a mild spicy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Lots of taste, but boozy and a bit unbalanced. Still, quite nice.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of raisin, sweet bourbon vanilla, caramel, figs, yeast ester and malt. Taste has bourbon vanilla, caramel, figs, dates, raisin, malt, yeast ester, dry oak and herbs. Dry finish with some booze. Quite nice, this makes a tripel interesting again.

Bottle. Color: Orange amber, thin off-white head. Aroma: Malt, fruity, roasted coconut, Bourbon. Taste: Starting medium sweet malty but soon the Bourbon comes. Moderate to medium bitterness. Complex mix with notes of yellow raisins, herbal notes, cinnamon, roasted coconut, vanilla, caramel, candysugar and oak tannins. Boozy hints. Over medium body, low carbonation. Long lasting finish. Nice complexity, well balanced. Lovely.
