Can, huge thanks F&L! Black body. Dry nutty caramelly aroma, light dried fruit. Medium body, light for the style, quite nutty, loads of roasted nuts, solid roastiness but well rounded, light astringency. Good take at the style!

Can picked up from Bierkiste, München. We had this in the company of Ursula sat outside by the brazier after eating Greek meatball, feta and tomato bake, Friday 18th July 2025 we did a lovely walk from Teisnach to Böbrach. Pours black with a head that rapidly departed. Smooth, a little creamy, ice cream wafer, a little light coffee. Nice, simple and yet this is a rather hefty 12% beer. Nice.

Can, shared at the fire with Fin. Black. Toffee, hazelnut, cream. Taste is front heavy, a bit thin, at the same time you can feel the booze. Not undrinkable.

A black beer, no head. Aroma of mild roasted dark malt, chocolate, some liquorice. Taste of mid sweet dark roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, molasses, cold coffee.

Moderat süßer, zum Ausgleich auch leicht bitterer Beginn. Schokoladenmalz, brotig, Kakao. Cremig, süffig, der Alkohol ist nie erkennbar. Rund, malzig, weniger intensiv als gedacht. 10/11/11/9/7/10
