11/12/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours very dark brown with a very small bubbly beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, wood, peat, whiskey, leather, nut. Medium sweetness, moderately bitter, with a sour edge, Quite thin and watery for it's abv. Not a big fan of this.

Bottle traded with Erzengel, shared at Hazlemere tasting. Aroma is big and boozy with dark fruit. Cloudy dark brown. Thin light beige head. Boozy fruit with tar streak. Thin. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. It was drinkable.

Bottle shared in Hazlemere - cheers to BeardedAvenger. Pours clear ruby-red with a bubbly tan head. Medium sweet flavour, ample pear, some leathery fruits, carpets. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more peat and leathery berries. Novel.

Bottle, split at the Hazlemere Movember and chops tasting, thanks to the Bearded Avenger 12/11/21. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige beige cap. Nose is dusty brown fruits, spice, light roast, malty, toffee. Taste comprises dried fruits, brown bread, earthy bite, biscuit, toffee, light bourbon. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze.

Bottle shared at high Wycombe tasting. Thanks to beard. A caramel, brown sugars coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is salty, tcp, medicinal, smoky, brown sugars. Salty.. Flavour is composed of, semi sweet, salty, smoked veg, asperagus,. Stewed fruit. Palate is bark.. Moderate carbonation. Ok.

Light unclear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - roasted, chocolate, peat, whisky, wood, light vanilla - barrel. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, wood bitter - peat bitter, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, sugary malty, woody, light vanilla - barrel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20190828]
