A 5.2% Nelson-heavy Pale Ale! Grapes, gooseberries and unctuous creamy limes. Nelson at its best.

FLUX is a really special three beer collaboration with Track Brewing Co. We have combined our hoppy knowledge to create levels of saturation, flavours and aromatics bordering on the insane! Each beer in the series is an absolute monster with a different New Zealand hop leading the charge: Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron and NZH-101.

7/VIII/25 - 44cl can from Gedeelde Vreugde (Sint Niklaas, BE), shared @ Atlantic Hotel (Heidelberg, DE) nearing the end of our Schwarzwald holiday, BB: 12/XI/25, canned: 14/V/25, Gyle 1111 “capacitor” (2025-762)

Cloudy beige blond beer, small dense creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: oh my, lovely! Lots of tropical fruits, juicy, intense, a little dank, some marijuana, very nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lovely, good bitterness, fruity, tropical fruits, very dank, a bit sweet, some marijuana, diesel. Aftertaste: a good bitterness, a bit resinous, hoppy, dry finish, piny, dank, quite a bit of a hop burn in the finish, but I don’t really mind.

aroma is citrus fruits, juicy non-sweet hops, fainter herbal hops, a really very hoppy very non-cloying non-sweet hoppy aroma, very refreshing, quenching.
flavor is a lot of grapefruit, clementines and not so swet oranges, there is a malty base but it is a little thin and sort of messy with herbal and nutty notes. water treatment is watery rather than crisp. end is reasonably hopped with sweet exotic fruity notes.

Draft @ El Birrot.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts bring about the right amount of creamy sweetness for this pale ale. Light pine overlays robust and slightly tangy stone fruits. Tangy in a good natural stone fruit way, not sour but, the first couple of steps on that journey. Nelson lost to me on this one, blown away by the stone fruit blizzard. Light finish shows a very mild savoury skunk. Nice pale ale, full on hop wise.
