Tap at beerlovers bar. Pours black, good, darkly tanned head, very stable. Creamy in texture. Smell is coconut, milder chocolaty. Barrel is very hidden' thick, intense, mildly boozy. Taste is sweet, thick, bit boozy, coconut more chocolate than in the scent. Pretty balanced, given the style and ingredients. Low carbo. Nice stuff.

Draught, half pint. @«Artbeerfest 2019», Caminha (Portugal). 12/07/2019. Opaque black colour with a medium foamy tan head. Aroma is rich roasted malts, peated grains, soft whiskey. Taste is peated malts, soft vanilla, chocolate and soft ashes leading to a medium boozy finish. Deep aftertaste. Next one please!

Keg at Jolly Judge, Edinburgh. It pours opaque, jet black with a decent dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, intense, sweet, sticky, toasted coconut, dark chocolate bounty bar, vanilla, toffee, heady booze, toasted marshmallow and oily. The taste is rich roasted malt, slick, oily, sweet, burnt toast, coffee grounds, toothy, charred wood, milky chocolate, gateaux, maltesers, Mars bar, vanilla, oak, light coconut, spice, horlicks, rocky road and warming booze with a chewy finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. An intense and toothy beast. Good depth of flavour. Not exactly a summer ale, but fun stuff anyhow.
