An explosive tribute to the glory of hops! Nuclear Whim is built on a base of fluffy Maine-malted oats, then absolutely smothered with some of the most exciting hops currently available. Saturated flavors of stone fruit, citrus sorbet, and juicy melon. Dense, drippy, and delicious.

Aromas are a nice blend of resin, citrus, dry grain and malt. Flavors are similar to nose and on the bitter side. Enough sweet and soft carbonation to balance been done many times before but still very drinkable.

Level 99 draught, 7/29/25.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Small, off-white head.
Juicy citrus with s bit of lemongrass and melon accents. Rich malt and very fruity yeast. Clean and seemingly balanced.
Similar flavors. Tingly floral-lemongrass with soft, supple malts and lots of citrus and juicy, sweet melon. Is there a touch of caramel on the very end? Don't love that, but the texture and attenuation are spot-on.

Can split at L6, thanks to Tipple, 10/02/20. Murky fruit smoothie orange with a decent off white cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, weed, pine needle, sweet malts. Taste comprises orange pith, minerality, grass, pine needle, grapefruit zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness. Ok IPA but far from BB's best work … on the raw side.

Can shared in Larchmont - courtesy of drsandman. Pours murky orange with a small, foamy white head. A bit harsh, with some bitter pine, grass, bits of chalk, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with ample throat burn, ornage peel. More harsh bitterness. Not the best from these guys.
