Can from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Fine carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon, lime and white bread. Flavour of bready malt and grapefruit peel. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. A refreshing IPA in superb condition.

On tap at Garden Taproom Zagreb. Unclear pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy and light floral nose. Citrusy, floral, light herbal and touch of fruits with bitterish finish. Surprisingly good.

Tap at the brewery, the only place in Croatia that appears to have it. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Fantastic fruity, perfumey aroma, big blueberry, floral, bit citric notes. Lean, dry taste, floral and washed out lemon notes. The body feels aaaalmost brut-like, but for the low astringency coming with the bitterness, bit minerally, bit rubbery. Bit soft and pillowy despite the dried out finish. Interesting stuff, would say the best beer garden put out in a long, long time.

On tap at the Garden Brewery taproom, Zagreb. Clear golden, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, citrusy, light stone fruit, lightly piney and herbal. Grainy in the background. Drinkable, mostly crisp, fresh, lightly creamy. Flavour is lightly fruity, citrusy, herbal and bready. Dry finish, light bitterness.

Picking this beer out of the fridge my mind thought of an old University friend called Mirza, who had an incredible story at the time having delayed his education to fight in the Balkan War. This Balkan brewery have described this beer as a 'Crisp IPA', which feels a little like pushing the boundaries for a full-bodied 5.8% beer. It is tropical fruity in aroma and taste, verging on sticky-sweet and pretty decent, with hints of pine.

Can at home picked up from Asda. A almost clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is earthy pils grains, dry pine tips, orange, straw, green hop. Flavour is composed of clean crisp grains, earthy pils, grassy piney hop, firm slighly dirty hop bitterness. Palate is crisp, highish carbonation. Decent. hoppy crispy boi.
