Kooperace s The Barn. S Honzou jsme sestavili společný recept, nakoupili stejné šarže surovin a oba pak uvařili várku ve svých domovských pivovarech. Výsledkem je souboj piv ve stylu XPA, chmelených Mosaicem, Krushem a aroma blendem Yops. Obě piva jsme odkvasili limitovanou edicí kvasnic LalBrew Aurora. Ochutnejte a rozhodněte o svém favoritovi.

Collab with The Barn. Together with Honza, we developed a shared recipe, sourced the exact same batches of ingredients, and each brewed a version in our own brewhouses. The result? A head-to-head XPA showdown, hopped with Mosaic, Krush, and the Yops aroma blend. Both beers were fermented with a limited-edition LalBrew Aurora yeast strain. Try them side by side and pick your champion.

Med body, med-light oatiness. Med-high carbo. Med-high bitterness, light juicy sweetness. Malt in the background, hops-centered, nice juicy exotic citrusy hops character. Easy drinking, tasty, clean, good. Is the XPA in the room with us though?

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, fruity and light pineapple in the nose. Fruity, herbal, light earthy and bit watery with dry bitterish finish.

0.5 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Hazy orange, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, tropical fruit, mango, danky, very fresh, light hop bite, zest and herbs. Very soft hints of malts underneath. Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft texture, lightly creamy. Very dry, moderately bitter, some tartness, very light astringency. Flavour is fruity, tropical, grapefruit, zesty, danky.

Can from dunno where, let's say Base Camp, maybe Galerie, with Hrabren and Ogi. Complex taste, strawberry, melon, quite a bit resinous, herbal, pungent, light onion, just lovely overall to be entirely fair. The taste, however, is completely opposite, lean, dry, bitter, quite oniony, lightly earthy... Quite drinkable, but after that aroma, that taste... hooh.

Fra fat på Cardinal: uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Tropiske frukter i kl, tett etterfulgt av søt citrus, granskudd og hint av urter i en slank men velsmakende maltkropp. De 50 ibu er overraskende milde i den saftige avslutningen. Alt for dyr, men velfortjent (naturligvis) etter rundvask av kjøkkenet.
