16.08.2015, 0,33l bottle @ Brewpub le Sec, Barcelona:
Nice slightly bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, grass, mild coffee, licorice, dark sugar, hints of vanilla. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, grass, hops, mild coffee, roasted grain, toast, pine needles, licorice. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle picked up at Glug, Newcastle, consumed at home Saturday 27th December 2014. This lay almost forgotten amongst my little horde. Pours black with a minimal tan head. Some chocolate and coffee intermingling and then a long roasty but smooth finish completes the picture. Good stout. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask: half-pint, in the Euston Tap on 12th Sep 2014. Dark pour, black actually, with a poor excuse for a head. Malty, milk chocolate and creamy with a drying finish. Decent and my last beer of a heavy day.

Cask - Dark roast and bitter chocolate with some coffee. Jet black with bubbly brown head. Lots of chocolate and roast with a long bitter finish. A little watery but still very nice.

12oz pour on tap at La Cerveteca in Barcelona. Pours a watery, deep brown with some thin, creamy, beige head. Nose is malty, chocolatey, some oatmeal, cookie dough, mild vanilla. Flavor is sweet, creamy grits, oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, mild molasses, brown sugar. Sweet and creamy finish.
