Breathe, sit back, relax and enjoy this vibrant and expressive Gold Top DIPA. Citra, Strata and Motueka make you cocktails on a beachfront; bright, punchy passionfruit and papaya is met with the distinctive acidity of freshly squeezed limes, and tamed with cooling, mouthwatering strawberry and watermelon. In the background; a whiff of something dank and herbaceous in the air, the scent of fresh basil leaves torn and dropped into marinara, and the gentle warmth of dried red chilli pepper. A delicate dosing of lactose cushions the hop intensity, rounds out the flavours with a touch of sweetness, and results in a textured and complex finish.

440ml can from Krafty J's in Jersey. Pours a deep orange with a white head. Aromas & tastes of pineaple, papaya, passion fruit, lime, peach, tangerine, candy, hints of pepper & hops. Medium body. Sweet light bitter finish.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Airy pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Mellow savoury skunk and mild pine kick off the hops. Juicy if slightly ripe citrus. Whispers of the promised passion fruit and watermelon. A very mild bitterness on the light and mildly dry finish. Good stuff, brings the juicy hop fruits but doesn't neglect the greener hop aspects.

440ml can. Murky yellow gold, white head. Aroma of guava, papaya, mango, citrus zest. Taste is very juicy and tropical, papaya, guava, mango, zesty lime and grapefruit, melon. Full bodied and smooth. I know these all have lactose in which I often complain about but have to say I really didn't notice any extra sweetness in this one. Great one!

Can from The Fuss Club. Nose is zesty orange, papaya, peach, pineapple, grapefruit. Thick juicy flavours of pineapple, grapefruit, passionfruit, papaya, peach, white pepper. Long lingering alcohol warmth. Dense juicy bittersweet aftertaste.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 13/06/2025.
Murky orange topped with a lasting creamy white head.
Nose is papaya, mango flesh, pine resin, guava, mandarin, hop spice.
Taste comprises ripe tropicana, mango pulp, pine resin, lychee, stone fruit whisper.
Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid.
