On tap at Cloudwater taproom in Manchester. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweetish, malty, caramel, spice stout. Decent enough festive number.

440 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 5%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of raisins, prunes and other dark dried fruits. The flavour is not as sweet as I feared, notes of dark malts and dark dried fruits, a hint of marzipan, low bitterness. .

Pours black with a tight beige head, plenty of winter fruits in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry fruity finish.

Can. Very dark brown. Nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, roasted malts, almonds, plums, sweet red fruits, light earthy. Over light sweet and light bitter. Just medium bodied. Not too bad, like a typical Christmas beer but not very sweet at all.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 18/12/24. Black with a khaki cap that retains well. Nose is chocolate, herb, marzipan, spice, dried fruit esters, cocoa powder. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, perfumed notes, rocky roads, candied red berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent pulls off the Stollen vibe well.
