In honor of our 15th Anniversary, we brewed a step-ashed, Old World German-style Fest Lager with a base of German malt and German Perle and Mittelfruh hops, then conditioned it in wooden barrels at 3 C for three months. Fresh krausen is added for a soft, approachable carbonation.

10L oak cask at churchkey pours a clear gold, ring of white head. Nose had some grain and was incredibly floral. Big tea notes, chrysanthemum too. Grain arrives more in the mouth but the wood cask has some astringent notes that felt off. Light and herbal finish.

Gravity cask, 15th Anniversary Festival, 6/21/25.
Clear, bright peach-blonde-golden. Frothy, well-retained, white head.
Bright and full of yeast and mineral with light honey-like maltiness, but strong attenuation leading to light biscuit/cracker. Soft hops add fresh cut grass and fresh herb. Very bright, dainty, aromatic.
Clean and full of mineral with low oak and just a bit of chewy tannin character with a malty texture and high attenuation. Grass and fresh herbs lend a deep hop note throughout, with dainty honey-like malt character and light biscuit and more mineral on the finish. Very elegant and well-made, unsurprisingly.
