Description
Nestled on the borders of the Pays de Caux in the town of Gonfreville L'Orcher, on the outskirts of Le Havre, the Pradon is a real 17th century enclosure. It was in 1872 that the Palfray family arrived at Pradon and for five generations they have shaped and built the history of this typical farm. Today it is Emmanuel who perpetuates the tradition: sugar beets, wheat, flax and potatoes for crops, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys and geese for breeding. The cattle disappeared in 1990 to make way for the production of cider which Emmanuel decided to develop to meet a need of the store and in anticipation of the reduction in cultivable areas linked to the expansion of the city.
