Description
Sagene Bryggeri is a microbrewery at Sagene in Oslo, Norway. The brewery was established in 2013, in central Oslo on the banks of Akerselva river. The brewery is located in the venerable premises in the former Hjula Veveri, that once housed weavers that created woven fabrics for the population of Oslo.
We have unassuming enough as an ambition to become "Oslo beer." To achieve this, we produce the craft beer in our premises at Sagene. In addition, we have entered into a long-term collaboration with Arendal's brewery for the production of Sagene lager beer for grocery chains, as well as Vinmonopolet bottle shops, bars and restaurants. From 2024 all beers are brewed by Arendals.

Bottle (from Rema 1000 Hesseng). Pale golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, earthy and quite skunky. Flavour is grainy, some maize, mild grass, earth and mild herbal tones. Just another Sol/Corona clone.

Bottled 330ml (Kirkenes)
Golden colour, small white head. Skunky nose with some underlying sweetness. Light-bodied. Fizzy. Some sweetness maltyness, grass, light hops. Not corn-like like Corona but flavourwise a good imitation.
