Description
Sagene Bryggeri is a microbrewery at Sagene in Oslo, Norway. The brewery was established in 2013, in central Oslo on the banks of Akerselva river. The brewery is located in the venerable premises in the former Hjula Veveri, that once housed weavers that created woven fabrics for the population of Oslo.

We have unassuming enough as an ambition to become "Oslo beer." To achieve this, we produce the craft beer in our premises at Sagene. In addition, we have entered into a long-term collaboration with Arendal's brewery for the production of Sagene lager beer for grocery chains, as well as Vinmonopolet bottle shops, bars and restaurants. From 2024 all beers are brewed by Arendals.

Tåkete gul med hvitt skum og bobler. Lukter mest av sitron men også lime. Mye kullsyre. Drt er sitron som også er mest fremtredende i smaken.

330 ml bottle, from Bunnpris Jørpeland. Clear and deep golden colour, moderate to small white head. Typical n/a beer aroma of DMS, wort, over-cooked vegetables and baby porridge. The flavour has the same elements, but also fairly distinct piney and grapefruity hops with a bitter finish. Unfortunately there is also a metallic note throughout. Won't buy again.

Can. Pretty standard semi-dark industrial style lager. Some caramel, toffee. General fruityness and just a hint of bitterness. More sweetness though. Forgettable. 43437 251025
