Description
Walking Man Brewing was established in 1999. Nestled in Stevenson, Washington near the Bridge of the Gods in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge, Walking Man Brewing began impacting the Northwest craft beer scene in late 2000. Garnering medals in some of the top beer competitions in the world, it has long since become a destination for beer enthusiasts and gorge travellers.

Our 17-barrel brewhouse has a single infusion mash tun, steam fired kettle and open fermenters. We brew old school, stirring every batch by hand. We produce roughly 1000 barrels each year and distribute along the I-5 corridor from the Puget Sound through Portland Oregon and throughout the Columbia Gorge region.

We welcome you to explore our neighborhood, connect with our community and enjoy a pint at our brewpub. Cheers!

Beautiful slightly hazy golden-amber. Deep, intense hop fruits (mango, orange, kumquat, wood) with some of the freshest pale malts to come through the nose of a hoppy beer. A feat even by PNW standards. Gorgeous....large bitterness from hops that flirt with florals and citrus before settling on woody. Clean, fresh-tasting, pale malts. Bracingly hoppy dry finish with that little bit of resininess to make sure you know you’re drinking a properly-hopped IPA.

Almost black. Slight aroma shows light chocolate, coffee and hints of oats. Rich, complex malts - milk chocolate, light coffee, toast. There’s a slight tartness and warming oatiness at the end.

Dark brown, hazy. Complex chocolate aroma with a hint of coffee and molasses. Chewy, rich, lush dark fruits, toast, coffee, chocolate. Beauty. Might be a bit thin but you can’t have everything can you? (note: this was listed as a porter on my visit)

2014 rating, now made with Ella hops. Fresh hop nose, light fruity character, toasty biscuity malts, earthy, balanced with a dash of late bitterness. 3 6 6 3 13

2007 rating: Pretty copper colour. Light pale malts back up some fairly bitter woody c-hops. Crisp, refreshing...not terribly inventive but nicely done. 7-3-7-4-16 = 3.7

Hazy amber, small beige head. Fruity hop nose. Flavor is a swirl of cat pissy and bitter hops, poorly blended
