Description
Walking Man Brewing was established in 1999. Nestled in Stevenson, Washington near the Bridge of the Gods in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge, Walking Man Brewing began impacting the Northwest craft beer scene in late 2000. Garnering medals in some of the top beer competitions in the world, it has long since become a destination for beer enthusiasts and gorge travellers.
Our 17-barrel brewhouse has a single infusion mash tun, steam fired kettle and open fermenters. We brew old school, stirring every batch by hand. We produce roughly 1000 barrels each year and distribute along the I-5 corridor from the Puget Sound through Portland Oregon and throughout the Columbia Gorge region.
We welcome you to explore our neighborhood, connect with our community and enjoy a pint at our brewpub. Cheers!

On Tap at the Brewpub. Pitch black and viscous. Modest tan head and coarse sheeting lacing. Dark roasted malts in the aroma along with sweet pitted fruit and purple grapes. Thick oily palate and modest carvonation propels the malty sweetness over the toungue. Sweet daek roast flavors with remaekably little balancing bitterness. This its only drawback, minor as it may be. Finish is quick and soft. Only a slight bitter trailer. Glad to have finally had this one. Lives up to the hype.

On Tap Pitc0h black with a thick ttan head. Thick sticky lacing. Big time sweet dark cherry aroma mostly eclipsing the dark malt base. The cherry cannot hold back the roasted smokey malt flavors. The fruit makes a nice medley as it comes through a bit. Slighttly mediciney like fruit extracts can be but it works well. A bit thin and a nice sofr carbonation.

On Tap at the brewpub. Hazy medium amber. Small off white head. Persistant lacing. Subtle aroma of sweet malts and citrusy hops. Inviting. Flavor was also subdued. Very nice balance with a long strong flavorfull bitterness. A bit of the VABV comes throught to betray its Doubleness. Nice.

Draft. Nice mahogony beer with a brown/cream-colored head. Some dark malts in the aroma. Roasty, caramel flavor with balanced grapefruit hops - nothing overpowering. Creamy mouthfeel and medium bodied. Lingering toffee and PNW hops.
