Tap at the Brimmer Beer Box. Pale clear golden colour. Small white head. Aroma wheat, honey, bit of lemon maybe, slightly hoppy. Taste similar, grainy, lemony, slightly bitter finish. Little bit fruity too. Nice enough, but not really one of my favourite styles.

Tap at the Brimmer beer box. Golden amber colour, small golden head. Aroma is quite grainy, fruity too, tangerine, touch of lemon maybe, quite biscuity too and maybe a bit of Belgian yeastiness. Taste is nice, fruity up front, slightly tropical, nice bitterness but not overwhelming. Finish brings a bit of spice, bready malt and a touch of grapefruit. Nice in mouth, touch of carbonation keeps it lively but not overly fizzy.

Tap at Brimmer Beer Box. Dark brown/black colour. Not much head. Little bit of golden lacing. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, bit of coffee. As you would expect. Taste is nice. Little bit of coffee bitterness, lots of roast malt, touch of cream. Something slight floral maybe at the back. Roasty finish. Like the porter with the plums replaced by coffee. Isn't that how stouts and porters always work?

Tap at the Watering Hole. Cloudy chocolate brown, small creamy off white head. Aroma is not so strong, but pleasant enough. Light chocolate, roasty malt. Taste is very biscuity, bit of milky chocolate too. In fact a chocolate biscuit I guess. Touch of spike in there too. Gingery maybe, slightly bitter finish. Silky smooth in the mouth. Brimmer beers seem to get better the more I have,

Tap at Popeye. Was just calle Brimmer IPA, but definitely more English IPA style than American, so I guess it's this one. Amber coloured, small golden head. Aroma malty, bit of hops, but not so much. Mildly fruity too. Taste is nice enough, slight fruit, marmalade, malty. Toasty. Marmalade on toast. Nice enough.

Tap at Popeye. Dark red brown, not much head. Aroma is slightly spicy, bit of fruit, but kind of vague. Taste is fruity, slightly medicinal, aniseed maybe. Ok. Interesting but probably won't rush to have it again. But then again this isn't one of my favourite styles.

Tap at Popeye. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is not so strong. Slightly citrus hoppy but not so much else. Taste is nice. Decent maltiness, some spice. Slight hoppy bitterness at finish. Pretty easy drinking. Crisp.

Draft at Beer Komachi, Kyoto. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of freshly squeezed cardboard, light fruits and light malt. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Beer Komachi, Kyoto. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, biscuit dough, cardboard, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, light resin, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tap at Takumi. Orange-amber, lightly hazy, flat. Tropical fruit, biscuity malt, peach and mango. Almost completely flat, which kind of ruined it. Other wie great hops and nice malt.
