Sampled from the Malt & Humle tent, Gladmatfestivalen 2014. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. Aroma has citric fruit and spicy yeast. Flavor is sweet pale malt, citric fruit, spices, yeast and some bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Decent Saison with some extra bitterness, otherwise not to exiting.

Hazy golden color with a white head. Mild sweet malty and mild herbal hoppy nose.Ok body and a fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Toffee and mild citrus flavor. Decent brew.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy yellow body with carbonation. Fruity gingery lemongrass aroma with oily yoghurty notes. Dry-sweet citric lemongrass taste with spicy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy fruity perfumy lemongrass aftertaste with wooden spicy notes. Ending in astringent dusty strawy toffee finish. Very nice. Lots of character. (0.33l draft, at Grunerløkka Brygghus.)

On tap at Gladmat. It pours a clear, golden body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Some curtains occur. The aroma has citrus, especially grapefruit, a saison yeasty peppery note and a little touch of pale malts. There’s a nice carbonation, it’s medium dry and with a nice bitterness. Pink grapefruit, some peppery notes and a touch of yeast and a grassy hint. Lasting finish. Overall, a bit on the sweet side, but still very nice and tasteful. 140726
