Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body. Dusty dried fruit and strawberry aroma with wooden alcohol and honey notes. Dry-sweet strawberry and alcohol taste with dusty banana notes. Mid-bodied. Soft, flat, dusty mouthfeel. Dryish oily alcohol and banana aftertaste with dried fruit and earth notes. It’s not bad, but too slack and alcoholic. (0.3l draft at brewpub.)

On tap @ Amundsen. This is a blurry deep honey-golden one with a good looking heavy lacing dense off-white head. It has a really nice and heavy fruity aroma this! Pineapple and mango is the first thing that comes to mind. Really hoppy fruity, fresh, some pine and a strong sweet malty base. Not bad. It has a good sticky oily mouthfeel and a low carbonation level. Yeah, they have not been cheap on the hops. It's also fruity in the taste with strawberries, peaches, pineapple and sweet sticky caramel. Really tasty and I will not mind tasting this again. 01.03.2013

On tap @ Amundsen. This is a light blurry bronze colored one with a small light lacing and islandy off-white top. It's definitely not extreme on the aroma. I get traces of fruity melon, some pepper and sweet caramel. A bit lower on the aroma that I had imagined, but it's nice enough. More stuff going on in the taste, but is the not a very complex barley this. About average on the and the mouthfeel is light sticky oily. Slightly wood-dry in the taste. I get ripe berries - the really ripe kind, sweet malts and something reminding a bit of a sweet white wine. It kinda grows on you after a while. A bit astringent in the finish, making my mouth go really dry. Only traces of yeast and alcohol in the aftertaste. Happy anniversary! 01.03.2013

On tap @ Amundsen. This is a deep dark brown - almost black one with a nice medium sized heavy lacing brown head. The aroma is filled with milk chocolate and cold coffee. Roasted malts as well, but the chocolate dominates. More hoppy in the taste. I get vanilla, chocolate paper, sweet dark caramel and something reminding me of leather jacket. Lots of flavor in this, and I'm found of flavors. Ends with a roasted finish and traces of cold coffee in the aftertaste. Solid stuff! 01.03.2013

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy brown body with a small beige head. Aroma has caramel malt, dry fruit, brown sugar and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet and malt dominated, some dry fruit, ripe fruit, burnt sugar, spices and moderate bitterness. Fine body with a long aftertaste. It’s a nice barely wine, even if it’s a bit robust and alcoholic.

On tap @ the brewpub. Dirty amber body with a big off-white head. Super refreshing, fruity aroma with a hint of caramel. Flavor is sweet malty, light caramel, quite bitter and lots of fruit, citric, tropical, berries and pine. Medium body and a nice, bitter aftertaste. A nice and very refreshing IPA with a strong hop flavor even without being overly bitter.
