About 100ml draught at the brewpub. Close to clear, dark apricot coloured body, partially covered by a bubbly layer. Laces well. Aroma of resin and dark fruits. Fine blended taste profile of pineapples, grapefruits and caramel malts upheld by a long, dry bitter tail. Well bodied. Thanks to the barman for giving me the last glass of the beer. Great start to a few drinking days in Oslo (14.09.2012).

250ml from tap at the brewpub. Creamy, off-white head blanketing the glass. Unclear dark apricot coloured body. Red oranges to the nose added by a spicy touch. Fine blend of red citrus fruits and caramel malts. Long-bitter tail, semi-dry. Hidden alcohol. Full bodied. Sits right (Oslo, 05.08.2012).

250ml draught at the brewpub. Orange coloured body, slightly hazy, filmy layer blanketing the glass. Oily, fruity hops to the nose. Fresh fruity hops in flavour with malts beneath. Mild, dry bitter tail. Quite well bodied. Thirst quenching. Praise for this version of the style (Oslo, 05.08.2012

On tap at grünerløkka festival. A more or less black one, at least it’s really dark brown. A dense, light beige head sits on top. The aroma is lightly roasted, with a lovely resiny and piney hoppiness. The same goes for the flavour, it’s a pleasant blend of roasted malts and piney, resiny hops. Full body, soft carbonation. Quite dry on the palate, in the finish too. Roasted, hoppy and bitter finish. A really pleasant black Ipa. 120825

On tap at grünerløkka festival. A big, creamy, off-white beer over an unclear golden body. Lots of bubble-gum on the nose and palate, some banana and cloves. A touch of lemon too. Medium body, low on carbonation. Some bitterness in the else wheaty finish. A decent weissbier, nothing more. 120825

On tap at Amundsen. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of fruit, hops, yeast and malt with a hint of citrus. Lightly sweet and surprisingly bitter, more fruity than expected. Nice and refreshing pilsner. A bit yeasty, but pleasant bitterness.
