12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/30/2018. Pours moderately hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, pear, red apple, coriander, chamomile, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, red apple, coriander, chamomile, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, red apple, coriander, chamomile, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a very good witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV, a little too heavy on body. A little underwhelming, but otherwise spot on style expectations. Touch heavy on the banana. Very well balanced Wit yeast, spices, and pale/wheat malts; with mild earthy hops against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. The beer pours brown with some amber around the edges, and a medium light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee and slight hops. Light body with flavors of caramel malt and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
