Bottle. Lots of milk chocolate in the aroma (although it has rather artificial character), a slight touch of hops. Medium sweetness. I like chilli and spicy food, but here it scrapes throat and becomes unbearable. A bit cloying because of the chocolate, soft carbonation. I won’t repeat, I had problem finishing half a bottle.

Aroma: herby hops, a bit caramel, slight note of fruit. Colour: copper. Minimal head, does not last long, decent lacing. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, oily feel. Nice beer, a bit like English ale, with bitterness above average, but not harsh.

Nose is mostly dark chocolate and a bit of strange aroma like clove, no caramel or roaster malt. Small head, does not last long, rather poor lacing. Mouth: dark chocolate. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Poor mouth feel: long finish with roasted, a bit ash-like bitterness, but the beer feels surprisingly watery, with harsh touch of roasted malt. Not bad, but poorly balanced and not offering anything special.

Dark brown with a thin head. Aroma is caramel and just a hint of darker malts...sort of dunkel-like. Has a fair amount of roast, though it is a touch thin. Some light chocolate notes as well.

Bottle. Notes of vegtables, caramel and rye bread. Finishes bitter. Quite drinkable, but there is something wrong with the balance, maybe it’s a bit to dry for it’s style? Interesting anyway.

(bottle) Hazy, murky golden colour with a short and slightly off-blond foamy head. Yeasty malty aroma with notes of white bread and shy traces of honey. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Honey-ish malty, even a bit sugary taste with a whiff of cardboard and discreet hoppy spices in the background; sweet and honey-ish finish with rounded hoppy notes. Better than expected. 19.XII.11

Bottle (kindly donated by Quack-Duck!) Golden, hazy, creamy and lacy white head, delicate honeyish traces in the grainy-papery nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; slightly lingering hoppy and sweet honeyish finish. Quite good…

bottle, with thanks to Schroppfy! Clear deep brown, almost black colour, mid-sozed, creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate cocoa and caramel. Full-bodied, solid malty base, yet not sweet. Loads of flavours of roasetd malts, cocoa powder, chocolate, caramel with a shy touch of fruit in the far background. Chocolatey but not sweet, rather dry on the palate, due to the large amount of aromatic and bitter hops that add flavours of pine tree and resin. Another delicious beer from Zawiercie.
