Can from Gulating. Hazy yellow body under a fast disappearing white head. Aroma feels fresh, fruity and spicy with minerals. Difficult to recognize exactly the kind of spices as they are rather subdued but nice. Taste is refreshing as well with the same fruitiness, mild acidity and the same spices, perhaps some cinnamon, cloves, anise and some ginger. Medium body and same aftertaste. It’s a fine balance for a spiced beer this, quite enjoyable.

Backlog June 2018. Slightly unclear godlen body under a nice, white head. Aroma has malt, citric and fruity hops, marmalade and hint of pine. Taste is a nice classic IPA with a malty base, fruity hops and fine bitterness. Fine body and long lasting bitter aftertaste.

On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen. An unclear orange juice-yellow colored beer with a dense, finger-thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma is rather hoppy, pushing the boundaries for what to expect from a saison. Pine cones, lots of grapefruit, some peppery notes and a light maltyness. It's full-bodied and dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a faint hopburn touch. Orange, pine cones, pale malts, peppery yeastyness notes and a pleasant and appropriate bitterness. Lasting finish, mostly on the fruity, piney side. A refreshing and tasteful saison I was happy to repeat several times after this first sample. 190608
