0,33 boks fra Madla Handelslag, hjemme: lys korngul med ok skum. Mild aroma og smak av citrusfrukter, tyggis og krydder. Behagelig bitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle. A clear golden colored beer with a white head. Some lacing. The aroma is fruity and quite wort-ish, sweetish and lightly flowery, with some piney hints. It's medium to thin bodied, softly carbonated and semi-dry, with a decent bitterness. Fruity flavor with a piney touch. Pineapple, flowers and grass hints, and a light maltyness. Wort. Medium length finish. Sort of refreshing, but too much wort aroma and flavor. 240717

Can. A hazy yellow-orange beer with a two-finger white head leaving lacing. The aroma is citrusy, piney and grapefruity, some grape too, with a touch of pale malts in the back. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with hints of yeast in the back. Canned tropical fruit, grapefruit notes and pine cones in the flavor, with some pale malts. Tropical fruityness and yeast in the finish. Drinkable, but a bit too yeasty. 240706

Bottle @ home. Clear golden body under a medium sized white head. Aroma has malt and medium fruity hops, not NEIPA strength but refreshing fruity. Taste has quite clean, sweet malt with moderate bitterness and refreshing citric hops, hint of pine and some generic fruitiness. Medium body and same aftertaste. Rather nice and balanced for a non alcoholic beer, perhaps a bit more in the direction of a hoppy lager regarding the malt profile but decent anyway.

0.33l can, enormous thanks djoeye! Huh, my first Arendals under Arendals brand, AB at least (had Solos and PVP-s before among others). Raising a glass to my dad, who would've become 67 less than two days ago, but sadly passed away during a business trip to Arendal for Ericsson in 1996. Anyway, this is a fairly dark brown body, thick greyish-ochre head. VEry nutty aroma, some dried fruit, vague chocolate, mild oxidation. Lean, dry taste, very much nutty, some dark chocolate, lean, bit minerally-tart, but the malt profile is actually very tasty in my book. Would go for it again!
