Aroma: The nose is sweet malts, bourbon, and oak, with some pecans, vanilla, spice, and smoke
Appearance: It pours a brownish color with an orange hue, beige head, and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is quite sweet, like the nose, with bourbon, oak, spice, and a little smoke
Palate: The body is medium-full, it has a little stickiness, soft carbonation, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: I'm quickly becoming a fan of Ranger Creek. I haven't seen too many of their beers on the shelves in Houston, but if I see more I will happily try more. This seems to be a really quality brewery.

Bottle thanks to Tim. Pours dark brown with tan off whtie head. Nose and taste of cinnamon, smoked caramel, smoke, vanilla, toasted pecans, dried fruit and smoked oak. Medium body.

Bottle thanks to Tim. Pours dark orange with off white head. Nose and taste of ripe fruit, caramel, toffee, earthy citrus and old citrus peel. Medium body. A touch over carbonated. Might have a slight infection, but still good. Hoppy. Medium body.

On tap at Draught House. Pours a clear orange with no head. Aroma is fruity hop and resin. Medium mouthfeel with dry hop and sweet finish. Good.

On tap at Draughthouse. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a bready malt and smoke. Medium mouthfeel with bitter malt and lingering dry finish. Good.

Aroma: The aroma is red wine vinegar, tart cherries, some yeasty notes, and oak
Appearance: The pour is murky looking reddish-brown with a small, fizzy head, and minimal lace
Flavor: The taste is similar, though more fruity, with tart/sour fruit, red wine, and light vinegar
Palate: The body is thinner than expected, tingly feel, lightly acidic finish
Overall Impression: This one is an interesting and well-made Flanders. I quite liked it. This makes for a plenty enjoyable beer. I've now got Ranger Creek at 2 for 2, and I'm looking forward to drinking more of their beers.

Aroma: The nose is full of smoked meat, some charred wood, coffee/roast, and chocolate notes
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a fizzy light brown head and some drippy lace
Flavor: Tastes much the same, heavy smoked meat/malts, a little roast, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, it has a rather fizzy carbonation, and a smokey finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty tasty smoked porter and one of the better examples of the style I can recall trying. My only qualm, and it's a small one, is that the beer is completely over-carbonated. This is the first thing I have had from Ranger Creek, and these guys did a really nice job with this one. If this is any indication of their skill level, look forward to trying more beers from them.

Bottle from Julie who got it at Spec’s in San Antonio. Pours dark ruddy amber with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits and spices. Med body, or better. Flavor is very spicy, with darker fruits and somewhat roasted malt. Not a trace of heat. Not getting much fruity ester, but this beast is strong in flavor - so it may be eclipsed. Quite nice to drink in the evening!

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a longlasting tan head. Has a roasted malty weak sour caramel aroma. Roasted malty fruity caramel and chocolate flavor with weak sour hints. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.
