Poured up on tap at the Mesa AZ Brass Tap where it exhibits a near clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma beckons from feet away with a berry kool aid fruitiness. A closer inspection reveals mild soda sugar yet faintly tart citrus. The taste delivers a balanced attack of sweet fruity berry notes and tartness that has a lemon facet to it. The tartness is restrained creating a descent sipping experience ending dry and a bit refreshing.

From a 12 oz bottle it is a dark brown with a slight head and the aroma is roasted coffee and the taste is a smooth flavor of milk chocolate that resonates coffee on the palate with a bitter finish

$12.99 frikin’ bomber pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a weak short lived light mocha head. The aroma offers up caramel, some malty molasses, muted dry spices and then some raisin and fig like fruity esters notes. The taste comes across kind of thin and it ushers in cola soda notes, some caramel, a dash of spicy black licorice and then muted spices. To midway it picks up mild brown sugar dusted raisin and fig like fruity esters. Decent enough beer but the value sucks. Why is this so damn expensive?

Poured up on tap at Craft 64 where it exhibits a hazed copper body that supports a weak near white head. The modest aroma offers up a decent enough blend of citrus hops, a dash of pine hops, some oak notes and then booze into the end of the draw. Ok. I was going into this kind of expecting a boozy mess. Happily it creates a pretty nice blend of resiny pine like hop, spicy oak, a sliver of oaky vanilla and then some booze that must be the tequila. In there somewhere too are bitter grapefruit hops that add a pleasing addition to the experience. This is far better than I was expecting.
