Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a gigantic, fizzy beige head that dissipates completely. Some burned caramel in the nose but also a lurking lactic tartness. Medium body, very fizzy in the mouth, the lemony and lactic infection now dominates completely. Pity. 231215

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a fast dissipating, fizzy white head. Aroma has some initial fruitiness but is quickly overpowered by some nasty phenols. Body is medium, malty sweet and fruity with hardly any hops. Easygoing. 231215

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell - London. Cheers to Paul for this one. Pours clearish brown with a fluffy beige head. Dusty burnt leaves in the nose, light dried berries. Light to medium sweet flavour, with some jammy dark berries, light tangy chocolate. Light bodied with average carbonation. A little bit of dry cocoa in the finish, some earthy bitterness, toasted leaves. Pretty meh overall.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken el 30-08-2015 (r01). una Smoked black ipa que es poco ahumada de color marrón con casi nada de espuma y con muy poco amargor. Edición especial lote 027-015 hasta 07-2016. Con un cuerpo ligero de 6 vol, muy acuoso y fácil de beber con bastante gas, sobretodo al principio pero que se acentúa poco. La Smoked black ipa menos Smoked black ipa que he tomado. Normal.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 021-015. AROMA: initial sour aroma with very faint background notes of wheat malt. cooked vegetables and yeast derived notes are present with a very faint spicy hop note. esters almost imperceptible. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and slightly hazy. thin white head with very poor retention. almost no carbonation. TASTE: slight sour flavour with a very faint malt background (wheat maybe). Esters almost imperceptible but can remember citrus fruits. almost no bitterness with a slight sour and dry finish. PALATE: light body with poor carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a saison that needs a lot of improvements regarding aroma, flavor and carbonation.

Caña en Festival verano Gijón 22-08-2015. (r13). Color marrón oscuro con muy poca espuma. Sabores y aromas maltosos dulces y ligeros toques de mieles y especias. Cuerpo bastante líquido fácil de beber y cierta sensación alcohólica. Normal.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken el 01-09-2015. (r11). Lote 018-15 hasta 07-2016. Color marrón muy oscuro con espuma beige que desaparece por completo al poco. Cuerpo ligero muy líquido totalmente acuoso con 5.5 vol. Sweet stou con mucho gas y poco sabor a stout por no decir que dudo de que se encuentre bien.

50 cl bottle thanks to Nisse666! Sampled on August 28, 2015.10% ABV, BB 01/2016 Batch 056-014.Hazy dark brown to black color, tan head. Alcohol, solvents, vinous, light malty scent. Sweet, malty, alcohol, solvents taste. Alcohol aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. A bit fizzy.Unbalanced, heavy on the alcohol. I’d drop the sugar and use malt extract instead, bring out more body and perhaps less clear alcohol, instead back it up with more malt sweetness.

Caña summer beer festival Gijón 21-08-2015. (r02). Color negro con muy poca espuma oscura. Aromas y sabores maltosos con toques de café y algo alicorados. Cuerpo medio con 10 Vol fácil de beber. Un poco más de densidad y gas no le vendría mal, así con todo Buena.
