Description
Returning brewing to Wimborne after almost 80 years. Eight Arch Brewing Co. is named after the eight arches at nearby landmark Julian’s Bridge in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, UK. Producing hop forward pales & IPAs to dark & roasty stouts. We have won awards in both regional and national SIBA competitions for a variety of styles.

Tap(@Eebria Tap, Bermondsey):Golden, hazy, small and lacy white head; pineapple and other tropical fruits in the dryish nose, some piney aromas as well; moderate dryish - as well - bitter flavour with a delicate residual sweetness; fizzy and relatively light bodied for a 5.5%; lingering dry piney and pineappeley finish. Even though quite "heavy(5.5%)", it works well as a nice summer drink…

330ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze. Grapefruit and elderflower in the aroma. Grapefruit, lemon, elderflower and some slightly earthy notes in the taste.

330ml Bottle - Very dark brown in colour. Vanilla, chocolate and some slightly roasted notes in the aroma. Vanilla, chocolate and coffee can all be detected in smooth taste. An enjoyable mild.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Eight Arch Session IPA ].Light unclear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, hop oil. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, hop oil, hop bitter, fruity hops, citrus, pale malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Gravicask at Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival. Warm golden body, slightly hazy. Dissipating white head. Fair lacing. Aroma of noble hops, some dried fruits as well. Orange fruity flavours. Oily hop bitter ending. Straightforward. (Newton Abbot 28.04.2017).

Gravicask at Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival. Spotty lacing from a orange-gold body. Filmy layer. Restrained aroma of floral hops. Fresh fruit hoppy taste of orange and grapefruit. Mid-dry fruity bitter end. Satisfying. (Newton Abbot 28.04.2017).
