Old rating from 2010 FOBAB, sampled from the tap. Poured a clear dark amber brown with a yellowish brown head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was sweet with strong bourbon and a malt profile consisting of caramel and biscuit. Flavor had caramel and biscuit with growing bourbon that lead to a booze finish.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Citrusy hops aroma with a touch of malt. Medium body with flavors of moderately bitter hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear ruddy amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Vinous character with flavors of sweet malt, caramel and figs. The finish is white grapes and malt. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Nice roasted coffee aroma that has notes of malt as well. Medium body with flavors of toasted malt, mild coffee and a bit of chocolate. The finish is roasty with a lightly bitter coffee aftertaste. Overall the flavor does not live up to the promise of the smell, but it is a somewhat decent Porter.

Medium body with a roasted malt and smoke character with underlying molasses and honey notes. The finish is roasty with a malt aftertaste. Decent Porter overall.

Light to medium body with flavors of biscuity malt, fruit and light hops. The finish is malty with a short sweet aftertaste. Barely average overall.
