Draught from BT. Poured a cloudy pale gold. Aroma of grass and malts. Pretty standard, more bocky than hellery though.

Draft. Wow, Dark and incredibly heady. So rich and chocolate malty with the goodness of good stuff. Lots of alcy too so it bombed me to death.

Must have had a bad/older bottle because I found this not too much to write home about.

Can, dark brown with a small tan head. Nose is metallic with some peanut in the background. First taste is better than expected but it does come across as slightly cloying. In the middle, I'm not sure if I'm liking this. Its starting to feel and taste like a pastry brew, brews which I typically do not get along with. Tho I don't know victory that well, this beer seems to be a little out of their bounds. The more I get into the session, the more I think that is how it should be styled. Yes its a porter, but Ive had many pastry stouts that are very similar in experience. Glad I had a chance to tick this but I wont be buying this again, even for a buck.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma is peanut butter with something like a sweet cake. Med body. Flavor is pretty much the aroma plus dark slightly bitter malt.

Stovepipe can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a somewhat transient foamy white head. Citrus aroma. Med body at least. Flavor is mostly citrus with wheat support. There's a touch of yeast and possibly a hint of banana. Or not. Heat is barely noticeable. Nice drink.
