Juicy, heavy on the Nelson Sauvins, with chardonnay, lychee, and floral New Zealand bitterness dominating the profile. Undertones of cracker, lemon, candied orange zest, and pepper lead to a moderately bitter finish. Not bad for an NEIPA, but still lacks much character on the back end, and the fade's a bland mix of bitterness and fleeting citrus notes. Pours a super hazy yellow gold with a lasting white head and good lacing. Creamy, easygoing texture is nice--no astringency here. Drinkable, but not particularly deep.

12 ounce can. Hazy Amber gold color. Large foamy beige head. Mild citrus nose. Notes of bread and caramel malt. Dank citrus hops as well. Notes of grapefruit and overipe oranges. Pleasantly bitter. Decent.

Can thanks to William. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, pine, earth. Slick body, grapefruit, orange peel, pine, light bitterness, very juicy, enjoyed this.

Draft pour at Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a finger of foam. Big white grapefruit forward nose with pithy orange aromas. Pulpy texture, bright tangerine, dank flavors. Pours a clear woody gold with a small bit of white foam that dissipates to a ring. Very acidic, tart vinegar-forward nose with light notes of apple and malt. Sharply acidic on the palate, with good carbonation, but loads of apple cider vinegar. Acidic finish. All the big, juicy NEIPA flavors are there--mango, berry, white grape, and resin--but holy hell is this can astringent, with a big, wicked alcohol flavor hanging around in the finish, not hot but prominent and unpleasant. Kinda kills whatever goodwill I have towards this pint; the mild grainy sweetness and fruit-forward hop notes can't compete with the raw, unwanted off flavors on the back end. So close to being a good brew, but the landing crashes into the tarmac. Pass.

On the dry side for a Saison, with a pronounced floral bitterness in the finish that comes across too aggressive for the gentler farmhouse notes. Straw, grass, clove, and vanilla all show up, as do tart green apple and lemon, with mild herbs and pepper on the fade. Doesn't coalesce into a great beer, though; the elements are noticeable but disparate, and the strong bitter back end seems out of place. Looks absolutely beautiful, though, pouring a slightly hazed gold with a huge white fluffy head and amazing lace. Otherwise rather skippable.

On tap at Conservatory. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with sticky white lacing. The aroma is pine, melon, citrus. Slick body, juicy, grapefruit, pine, melon, light resin finish, very good.
