Ive had a love hate realationship with Brooklyn lager. At first I really disliked this beer, too heavy and always just sits in my stomach. Now I’ve arrived at a detente, it’s ok, will drink if necessary.

Not a bad session ale I guess. A little bit of bitterness and hoppiness, pours dark. Drinkable.

12 oz. bottle, to-go from Capone's. Murky, dull, brown color, with a thin, fleeting beige head. The nose is cherry wood, pecan, heather, blueberry, toasted pine, and heavy earth. Dry and musty, with a mellow, earthy bitterness. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and astringent. Bold and dry.

Pours clear dark amber with a tight head. Thin aroma of hops and fresh saw dust. Watery and metallic flavour with hints of hops, pine needles and butterscotch.
