375ml bottle at the April Fools Day DC Ratebeer tasting. Shared by GenDV138, thanks Donnie! Poured a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some funky notes, barnyard. Light tart notes. Flavor had that kind of sweet tart notes that remind me of tart pixie sticks. Tart finish.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Pale stone fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is a little dry, rather nectarine, and maybe 1% maybe making med think sour. Not very bitter. Drinks easily.

Cap at Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Mixed aroma of strawberry and berry. Med body or so. Flavor is kiwi/strawberry with some lactic sour. There’ a lot of mixed fruit here, and the sour is medium/moderate. Barely acetic. Tasty.

On tap at Beer Revolution. It pours black with a light brown head. The aroma is intense with burnt toast, some bourbon, coffee and cocoa. The flavor is toasted, coffee, hints of bourbon. No brownie-like sweet chocolate dessert that I usually get with this kind of beer. The coffee character is also somewhat subdued, but pleasant. Well balanced flavors with some soft toffee notes throughout. The body is reasonably medium for the gravity. Good.
