500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, faint golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mild smoky aroma, hints of bacon and stewed cabbage, a touch of baked apple. Taste is leafy smoky, hints of tobacco, laurel, bacon rind, grainy wheaty undertones, a touch of pearl barley; slightly (thin) oily texture, minimally sticky palate. A bit conservative and restrained.

BB 30.11.2016. yellow light hazy color, small white head. smells of spices, grains, honey, parfumy. rather average smell. medium body, bubbly carbonation, soft mouthfeel. tastes quite salty, also rather sweet, some ripe fruits, spices, lightly citric. finishes lightly sweet but also acidic with notes of ripe fruits, salt and some spices. bit weird one, liked the taste a lot better than the smell though. overall drinkable.

Sample from bottle @ De Molen, thanks Menno & John. Hazy yellow-golden color. White head. Aroma’s: limoncello, lemon curd, sweet. Retronasal it’s lemon, tropical fruit. Flavor is light sour, moderate bitter, grainish. Light bodied. Finish is moderate bitter. OK.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some sweet malts, raisins and a little honey. Sweet and Autumnal. Similar to many a Doppelbock.

Barwa miedziana, klarowne, piana w kolorze lekko zabrudzonej bieli, obfita, dość drobna i całkiem trwała. W aromacie karmel, drewno, suszone owoce, nieco whisky. W smaku słodowe, karmelowe, wyraźnie nuty drewniane, lakieru do drewna, kory drzewnej, lekki dym, kojarzący się z whisky, nieco orzechów i suszonych owoców. Goryczka niska, zaznaczona, sporo ciała, wysokie nasycenie. Alkohol minimalnie tylko wyczuwalny, pijalność umiarkowana, solidne parametry robią swoje. Bardzo dobre piwo, całkiem ciekawy styl, który myślę, że warto zgłębiać.

Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruit, minerals, light fruit - citrus - tart. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, minerals, fruit, citrus - citric, salty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20161018]

Butelka 0.5l (01.03.2017). Piwo zmetnione o zlotej barwie. Piana slaba, bialo-szara, szybko znika prawie do zera. W aromacie chrzan, bardzo wyrazny, jak swiezo starty korze?, tylko nie szczycie w nos. Gdzies dalej w tle nuty drozdzy charakterystyczne dla saison. W smaku rowniez chrzan na pierwszym miejscu plus nuty saison’owe. Bardzo ciekawy dodatek do piwa, pasuje do piwa w tym stylu, ktory fajnie sie komponuje z lekko pikantymi nutami saison. I choc poza chrzanem nie dzieje sie za duzo to piwo jest przyjemne w odbiorze, lekkie o niskim nasyceniu a chrzan bardzo mi tu pasuje.
