Bottled, from Piwoteka, Łódź. Lightly hazy golden, mid sized head. Citrusy coal smoke aroma. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Mildly tart with mild coal smoke and orange. Lovely mix of drinkability, tradition and modern brewing.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has oats, medium roast, and a touch of peppers. Flavour is extremely spicy, with medium roast, intense peppers that dominate, and some earthiness. Extremely spicy.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of piney hops, citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with piney hops, light citrus, and cereal malts. But the hop expression falls a bit flat, finishing dry and piney. Not bad.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Roasted oats on the nose. Flavour has a huge kick of hot peppers that smother out the oatmeal malts. I think the base beer could have been solid, but the peppers were not a good addition.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Biscuits and dry pine on the nose. Flavour has resinous pine, a bit dank, and a biscuit malt base. Nose is lame, but the palate is decent.

Keg at Piwoteka, Łódź. Hazy straw colour, small head. Aroma of stonefruit, marmalade and marzipan. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Grassy with mango and minerals. Pineapple and marzipan. Mid bitter finish with some hop burn.

Keg at Piwoteka, Łódź. Black, creamy beige head. Aroma of licorice, caramel and peppery alcohol. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice leather, treacle, pear brandy and salmiak. Seriously roasty finish with peppery heat and long bitterness.
