Tap at CYO Brewing. Clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Huge mango-driven nose that really lingers. Peach also dominates with some dank and light citrus notes. Soft carbonation with a pillowy texture. Very restrained bitterness. Awesome beer with the fruit really being well-integrated. Fantastic.

Bottle: Clear light gold with a tall white head. Creamy grain, sweet grass aroma. Taste is crisp and sweet lemon, grain malt.... Nice and creamy..... Excellent....a delight to drink.

Draft. Mango, orange, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with large head. Moderately sweet mango, caramel malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Tasty.

Bottle. Milky biscuit malt and straw aroma. Yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet citrus, creamy biscuit malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Nice body. A very nice cream ale.

Growler: Bubbly, amber, with a small, off-white head. Tremendously strong smoky maple syrup aroma. Maple syrup, wheat malt flavour.....a grainy bitterness instead of the sweetness you’d expect..... A Maple Bomb.....a bit overloaded unless you’re a huge fan of syrup.

Growler: Bubbly, red-copper-brown with a short beige head. Toffee, woody aroma. Taste is very light...dry....wood, toffee malt, flat cola. Nice enough flavour, but too watered down to be really great.

Thanks to M. for bringing this back from the States. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a soapy head, decent retention and lacing. Hoppy nose with a mix of herbal and citrus, over caramel malts. The taste is pretty much the same with some good bitterness and dryness in the finish. Not too sure about the wheat part ?? Hints of coconut and wax in the aftertaste. Again, these hoppy beers take away from the original base recipes. 25 IBU, really ?!?

Draft. Banana and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Very sweet banana, caramel malt, and very lightly bitter straw flavor. Good body. The strong artificial banana flavor and aroma overwhelms nearly everything else - I didn’t find it unpleasant though.

Draft. Bourbon, chocolate malt, and grass aroma. Black with small tan head. Moderately sweet bourbon, chocolate, roasted barley malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Very good.
