Can: Slightly hazy.....amber-brown with a thick beige head. Caramel, lightly nutty aroma. Creamy, caramel malt, toffee, sweet nuts in the flavour. Pretty good.....fairly rich.

On draft at the Lift in Jackson Hole. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head. Bready nose. Flavors of white toast. Bitter finish.

Sample at Savor. Pretty close to black color, brown head. Chocolatey aroma. Taste is rich cocoa. Nice.

At SAVOR 2016. Poured a dark brown cola color with not much of a head. Earthy, dark fruit notes. Boozy character, bourbon, sweet caramel character. A strong beer to finish the night off.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out vanilla notes and light cocoa. Flavour is quite big, with notes of vanilla and light caramel. Lots of lager yeast presence. Not overly complex, but it works well.

Savor 2016: Charred oak, slightly vegetal. Ruby brown, headless. Charred oak, walnut. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Savor 2016: Cashew, oak, and maraschino cherries aroma. Cloudy reddish brown, headless. Maraschino cherries and cashews. Full body, easy carbonation, boozy. Too hot for my taste, good rich complexity.

Draft - Fruity dark malts with some raisin. Jet brown with a small beige head. Very fruit, coco and malts. Very sweet and fruity.
