Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Slightly hazy (not quite ready yet) gold/red colour with thin off white lasting head. Typical Rooster’s aromatic US hop aroma. slightly nettlely and harsh. Lots of citrus, grapefruit and lemon flavours. Sweetish and full in mouth with juicy malt and then citrus hop zesty finish. Always like Rooster’s beers and this is no exception

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is quity hoppy combined with slight floral and citrus notes. The flavor is sweet malty leading to a dry bitter hoppy end.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet flowery, while the flavor is sweet and lightly fruity with notes of pineapple and oranges standing out, leading to a dry hoppy bitter end. The body is thin.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with some notes of alcohol, while the flavor is sweet with primary notes of oranges. Pretty average.

Cask at White Horse, London Reddish brown beer with distinctive aroma of American hops. Combined with some good fruity malts, it makes this a very tasty beer. Will always have it if its on.

Cask at County Hotel (JDW) Ashford. Amber coloured beer. Typical Roosters nose of rich malt with promise of berry fruit. Good full mouth feel ending in acids and drying hops, but good rich mouthful of hay, berry fruits leading to acidity. Some yeast and slighlty creamy. A typically good rich Roosters beer. I thought the second pint in particular was stunning
