Can. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Malty, wort-like aroma with some fruityness. Quite a lot of cooked vegetables both in the aroma and flavor. Pleasant bitterness actually, but not much of it. Malty, worty flavor too, with a decent fruityness. Medium to thin on the palate, low on carbonation, quite dry. Short finish. Rather boring and uninteresting, but not as foul as I would expect. 131026

Can shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Clear pale golden with a small off-white head. Grainy aroma with light hay notes. Sweetish grainy flavor with faint bitterness is the finish. Light-bodied.

Bottle, 2.8% version, small long lasting creamy head, a touch hazy deep gold colour, aroma of honey drops and fruit compote, flavour of honey with just a hint of spice and herbs. light bitterness. Drinkable but nothing more.

50cl can from the Wine Company, Slough. A typical cheap Polish Pils. Straw coloured with a billowing white head; grainy aroma; syrupy grainy taste - like a high alcohol pils; and a touch of cardboard to finish.
