Many thanks to McTapps for this sample! Smooth fresh beginning. Lots of sweetish malt for a "Helles". Not much bitterness here, quite smooth, but not too deep. Easy to drink but a bit too sweet.

Many thanks to McTapps for this sample! Malty-sweetish beginning. Fresh but not too deep, malty-sweetish with only a hint of roast. Way too sweet for a Schwarzbier. Sweetish-malty ending with only hints of dark roasted malt.

[ As Kärrners Brauer Edition No. 01 Galaxy Bock ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, sweet malt, caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, hoppy, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Aroma has lots of hay. Also some grainy malt and hints of grass. Flavour has grassy hops, hay, some malty tones and hints of toffee. Not your typical Märzen, more like a (sweet) kellerbier.

1000ml bottle. Almost clear, orangey dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Malty aroma, some malt-spiciness, a touch of caramel, cautious, minimally grassy, bitter hoppy overtones. Taste is malty, subtle caramel malty sweetness, a malt-spicy touch, cautious, slightly grassy, hoppy overtones. Solid.
